Just wanted to give an update. I had a D&C yesterday. All went well. I appreciate all the prayers that went up for me and for our family. The Lord gave me complete peace about the surgery and there were no complications. I am resting now and Rob has been taking good care of us.
My friend Tammy called and offered to watch the children for us yesterday while we were at the hospital, and it was wonderful not to have to find someone to do that. They all had a great time together. 
I am thankful to not be waiting around for the bleeding to start; knowing your baby is dead but still being pregnant is very hard. We are going on a trip most of September and this gives me time to regain my strength so I can enjoy the time with my family and with Rob.

Cassie.. am trying to catch up with people on fb… so sorry to hear about the miscarriage… so excited to read you last entry about intimacy with our God… that’s an amazing balance… I’ve been where you are…. and you are at an incredible time in your life… relish the joys and the sorrows of this season because they will pass all too fast… I miss those days when my children were small and I had incredible time with the Lord while they were sleepijng… so peaceful, so intimate…. so endearing.. now, I’m in a different season of my life – when most people are slowing down, I seem to be speeding up! I long deeply for those sweet morsels of His closeness… but He has me tending these days instead of watching… He has surrounded me with Himself, immersed me in His work… you are loved and thought of often… sorry for the long laspse in communication…love and prayers for your family
