Tonight, Sarah was taking an extra long time to eat her dinner–I guess most three year olds go through that! The rest of us had finished our dinner and we’d had our family worship time and Sarah was still sitting there. Laura, who just started talking after we stopped feeding her foods with gluten, climbed up to the table, stabbed some of Sarah’s food, put it up to Sarah’s mouth and said, “Eat that.” And then she proceeded to feed Sarah the rest of her meal, very patiently waiting while Sarah chewed each bite. She only succumbed to temptation once and ate one of Sarah’s carrots. Pretty good for a twenty month old.
