During church services I usually have one of the girls sit on my lap. Yesterday I had Laura with me and we cuddled together as we listened to God’s word. The thought went through my mind that Sunday is the only time I get extended lap time with my little ones. Week days are busy, and Laura is like the Energizer Bunny and doesn’t usually like to sit still very long, but on Sunday she sits calmly for over an hour! It is such precious time.

Good for you! I, too, make a point of having my children in church with me because they learn from a young age to sit still and be quiet. It also helps them become good listeners as I am constantly encouraging them to be quiet and listen to what is said!
